Ana Robledo is a research education analyst for RTI’s International Education Division. She provides technical expertise to projects in early grade reading that involve the development and production of both instructional and supplementary reading materials. She has contributed her specialized knowledge of the publishing industry, especially in the development of materials for reading instruction, to studies of the book sector and of book provision policies in developing countries. She has worked in Colombia, India, Malawi, Morocco, Nepal, the Philippines, and Uganda.
Ms.Robledo currently manages the ABC+: Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines. For more than a decade, she served as a manager of large-scale educational publishing projects in Colombia and as an editor of supplementary reading materials for children and young adults. More recently, Ms. Robledo has worked in the international education sector and has contributed to the design and management of a range of education projects supported by foundational, nongovernmental, and bilateral donors.
