Alexander H. Bentz

Alexander Bentz conducts research on K–12 education and postsecondary education for a variety of state, federal, and foundation clients. His work touches on issues of federal and state accountability, achievement and educational attainment gaps among students from different ethnic groups and income levels, as well as labor market and student loan repayment outcomes after college graduation.
Since joining RTI in 2014, Mr. Bentz has contributed to several projects funded by educational foundations as well as by states and the federal government. He currently serves as co-lead on an evaluation of a STEM curriculum in public K–8 schools in Hawaii. He also works on analysis of data from longitudinal surveys and the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) for reports focused on policy-relevant topics published by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute for Education Sciences.
