Adam Preston is an Informatics Application Advisor within RTI’s Global Health Division. He has more than 20 years of experience in information and communication technologies consulting, software engineering, and international development work on projects in the Philippines, Ethiopia, Guinea, Tanzania, Jordan, and Morocco. Currently, Mr. Preston works on the Ethiopia Needs Assessment to Identify Barriers to Optimal Information Flow and Data Use project, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He is an expert in user-centered software design, in leading ICT projects using the agile methodology, and in data management and visualization. Mr. Preston is a member of the WHO Digital Health Technical Advisory Group Roster of Experts and represents RTI in other workgroups such as OpenHIE, Digital Solutions for Malaria Elimination, and the Community Health Toolkit User Group.
