Media Advisory: RTI International to Host Virtual Law Enforcement Drug Response Summit

The summit will feature insights from law enforcement officers, toxicology and medical personnel, and harm reduction professionals on tackling the opioid crisis

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. —RTI International, a nonprofit research institute, in partnership with the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF), is inviting media contacts to attend the 2022 Law Enforcement Drug Response Summit. During the summit, researchers will present findings from a national study on police  naloxone and behavioral health co-response programs and fentanyl-related misinformation, and law enforcement leaders from around the country will share their drug response strategies and perspectives. Attendees will also hear from harm reduction professionals and toxicology and medical personnel on topics that impact a community’s response to drugs.
