Connect

Susana Peinado is a health communication research scientist at RTI. She is an expert in experimental message testing, including testing the effects of messages on perceptions and behavior and understanding how people process and respond to health information. She focuses on the intersection of communication and health behavior theory. 

Currently, Dr. Peinado supports projects that focus on risk and benefit communication in the context of prescription drugs, vaping prevention messaging, HIV prevention messaging, and environmental risk communication.
