Rania Khalil brings a wealth of experience spanning over 27 years across both the public and private sectors and holding leadership positions for 13 years. Over the past decade, Ms. Khalil has been deeply immersed in education initiatives funded by USAID, making significant contributions to the advancement of educational practices in Lebanon.

A trailblazer in her field, Ms. Khalil played a pivotal role in spearheading the nation's inaugural production of e-lessons in Arabic, English, French, and mathematics. These groundbreaking resources, meticulously aligned with the Lebanese curriculum for grades 1 to 6, have revolutionized the educational landscape in Lebanon.  

In 2023, Ms. Khalil joined RTI as the Deputy Chief of Party of the USAID-funded Lebanon Quality Instruction Towards Access and Basic Education Improvement (QITABI) 3 Program, following her tenure as the Director of Programs on QITABI 2 at World Learning in Lebanon. In this capacity, she led the planning and execution of activities in collaboration with beneficiaries and counterparts at both national and regional levels. Prior to her role on QITABI 2, Rania served as the Deputy Chief of Party on the original iteration of QITABI, where she engineered a coaching tool for District Officers of Primary Schools, streamlining data entry processes and developing an early warning system to pinpoint reading development challenges. Moreover, she conducted teacher training sessions utilizing a tailored intervention tool for early literacy interventions.

Ms. Khalil’s multifaceted career also includes roles such as Project Director at the World Bank; Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer at the Lebanese Recovery Fund; M&E Specialist at the Lebanese Prime Minister’s Office; and Department Head of the Project Development Department at the Ministry of Agriculture in Lebanon.

Known for her blend of strength and approachability, Ms. Khalil epitomizes leadership excellence as she readily extends her support to others, guiding them towards unlocking their full potential. A fervent champion for her team, she cultivates a culture of empowerment, facilitating collective growth and excellence in every endeavor.
