Madison Boden is part of the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Training and Technical Assistance project, where she works collaboratively with SAKI grantees and the FBI Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP) to coordinate training and develop resources to help SAKI grantees maximize the services offered through FBI ViCAP. Ms. Boden also contributes to corrections and re-entry projects such as the National Institute of Justice-funded Assessment of Bureau of Prisons Restrictive Housing.

Prior to joining RTI in 2023, Ms. Boden worked for the Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) and the Virginia Department of Forensic Science (DFS). At the VADOC, she performed evaluation studies that measured the effectiveness of re-entry programming. She then served as the Physical Evidence Recovery Kit (PERK) Tracking System Coordinator at DFS, where she managed the statewide rollout of the PERK Tracking System and provided training and technical support to System users in Virginia. She also advised other states on best practices for selecting and managing their sexual assault kit tracking systems.
