Connect

Hannah G. Cortina is a Research Criminologist at RTI. Her primary research interests and areas of expertise include experiences of incarceration, the use of technology in criminal legal systems, and how correctional treatment programs affect reentry outcomes. She has experience designing studies, developing survey instruments, analyzing data, and disseminating findings in both quantitative and qualitative research. Dr. Cortina’s multi-method research aims to incorporate the voices of those directly impacted by incarceration through experimental and quasi-experimental designs with a focus on translating findings into actionable policy and practice improvement.
