Ms. Baladjay is a public health management professional with more than 10 years of experience in communicable diseases. She currently serves as Senior Technical Advisor of USAID’s Act to End Neglected Tropical Diseases | East program in the Philippines, a global flagship initiative to help endemic countries fight neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). In this role, she provides strategic technical assistance to the Philippine Department of Health in achieving the national program control and elimination targets of selected endemic NTDs.

Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Baladjay held several positions in the Philippine government as the national focal point for lymphatic filariasis, schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminthiasis, rabies, food and waterborne diseases, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS. She also served as the Assistant Head of the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine - Training Office. Ms. Baladjay worked with the Office of the World Health Organization Representative in the Philippines as technical assistant on neglected tropical diseases.
