Barbara Greenwood

Barbara Greenwood is an education specialist with more than 20 years of professional experience managing and developing programs, with a focus on primary education and institutional and organizational system strengthening in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa. 

Ms. Greenwood currently serves as Senior Research Education Analyst providing technical guidance and programmatic leadership to projects in the Philippines, Burma, and Kenya.  She also leads the RTI’s International Education Chief of Party Community of Practice. 

With strong leadership credentials, Ms. Greenwood is experienced at building capacity in multiple areas of educational programming at the primary levels, including teacher training, resource and curriculum development, and community engagement reform.  She has worked in Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Kosovo, Burma/Myanmar, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Malawi and Uzbekistan.
