Aizada Sarybaeva has 15 years of experience implementing and overseeing international donor financial and reporting functions. Additionally, she has extensive experience ensuring compliance with donor policies and procedures (including the U.S. Agency for International Development, the United Nations Development Program, the European Commission, the U.K. Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and the World Bank), and providing overall oversight of finance, human resources, logistics, procurement, and information technology functions.

She currently serves as the Finance and Administration Director of the Okuu! Keremet (“Learning is Awesome”) project, funded by USAID and implemented by RTI, in the Kyrgyz Republic. Ms. Sarybaeva oversees all project financial, operational, administrative, and human resources functions. She previously served as the Finance Manager of USAID’s Quality Reading Project “Reading together” from 2013 to 2017 in the Kyrgyz Republic. 

She has experience in implementing regional projects in Central Asia, as well as managing multiple grants simultaneously by reporting to different donors at the same time. She has managed funding for more than 40 local organizations and experience in startup of organizational system and closing local offices of international nongovernmental organizations.

Furthermore, she worked in an emergency response team and managed funds received from donor organizations for immediate emergency response program during communal violence, destruction and looting in June 2010 in the southern part of Kyrgyzstan.

Ms. Sarybaeva is fluent in Russian and Kyrgyz and has working proficiency in English.
