Ms. Arpita Sinha is a seasoned strategist with investment banking, consulting, and advisory experience across international markets. She specialises in the execution of special situations and initiatives, including high-priority business expansion and new market entry.

Ms. Sinha has extensive multi-disciplinary experience across international leveraged finance, M&A, business origination, finance and strategy consulting, impact investing, and entrepreneurship along with experience of structuring innovative solutions for low-resource settings. 

Prior to joining RTI, Ms. Sinha spent seven years in investment banking delivering cross-jurisdictional and cross-product structured solutions. As a Vice President in the Debt Finance division of Barclays, London, she led big-ticket transactions with private equity firms and mid-to large-cap global corporate clients across a variety of sectors. She was also responsible for leading one of the bank’s largest divestments in the European market. 

Having completed an MBA from Oxford University specializing in finance and impact investing, she founded an India-based venture—ARION, funded by Oxford and Skoll—with an aim to drive social sector accountability through digitization. Ms. Sinha has also held and continues to hold independent financial advisory roles and is involved in a social impact venture focused on livelihood generation and food security in Bihar.

As the deputy head of the India office and head of strategy, Ms. Sinha has a holistic mandate to strategically position RTI’s business in India, establish sustainable avenues of growth, and lay the foundations for a consistent yet responsive go-to-market approach for RTI in India.
