Abstract
The past year some colleagues and I have been testing out the possibility of collecting survey data on Twitter. At the start of our study, we asked participants how much they Tweet [1]. We then tracked their actual use of Twitter during the study, and it was surprising how inaccurate they were when reporting their use of Twitter.
