Abstract
This 4-year longitudinal study of contraceptive choice and use compared the experiences women had with Norplant, Depo-Provera, and the oral contraceptive (OC) pill. The study focused on rates of, and reasons for, discontinuation, as well as women's assessments of their experiences. The study also was designed to study the choice of Norplant compared to other methods.
