Abstract

Booklet using a sample of data available from the Schools and Staffing Survey (SASS), a set of questionnaires collecting information about schools and the staff who work in them. The survey asks for information from a random sample of schools, their principals, a subset of teachers in each school, and public schools' districts. Public schools from every state are included, including those administered by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Native American tribes or Alaska Natives, as well as a representative sample of private schools
