At RTI, we recognize the importance of providing emerging talent with engaging learning opportunities to develop the future scientific and global workforce. We offer a variety of internship, co-op, and postdoctoral opportunities at our North Carolina headquarters and other U.S. and international offices.
Our internship programs provide undergraduate and graduate students with mentored experiential learning opportunities. Student interns also benefit from professional development, leadership and service, and social experiences that supplement the hands-on work in their field.

Fostering Collaborative Experiences and Increasing Research Exposure through the Ron Brown Scholar Internship Initiative
RTI is proud to partner with the Ron Brown Scholar Program. The RTI International Ron Brown Internship Initiative, a direct result of our new partnership, seeks to provide an opportunity for selected students to actively work with our researchers and staff on various projects. Please review our brochure to learn more about the selection criteria and application process.
Co-op, Practicum, Course Credit Placements
Our commitment to experiential learning extends into co-curricular opportunities. We have hosted a number of students who were able to fulfill course requirements through work in our laboratories, offices, and field sites.
