Child Well-Being and Family Strengthening

Protecting vulnerable and at-risk children through research and evaluation of interventions

Because children’s experiences help set the stage for future success, the needs of families who support and nurture young children’s development are of vital importance. Economic difficulties, incarceration, and health are among the factors that can impact well-being and stability for both children and families. Developing strong and healthy family relationships is a crucial element of well-being.

Our research delves into the physical, social, and emotional characteristics of children and families in pursuit of interventions that improve their well-being. Our team supports client programs by evaluating the viability of interventions aimed at promoting child and family well-being, with a view to informing policy.
