Felicity Young has almost 30 years of experience in HIV and sexual and reproductive health-related policy analysis, strategic thinking, and demonstrated leadership. For the past 20 years, she has held leadership positions within the global HIV response. Her work experience spans Africa and Asia, including Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Young has worked with such donors as the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, the UK Department for International Development, and the Australian International Development Agency. She is experienced in forging innovative partnerships and fostering policy dialogue and consensus building among HIV community leaders, multi- and bilateral agencies, the UN family, host country governments, private sector and frontline service providers to improve the HIV response. She has authored numerous HIV-related policy briefs, discussion papers, press releases and reports.
