Olivia Silber Ashley, senior public health scientist, has 25 years of professional experience providing direct services and conducting program evaluation and etiology research related to child and family issues. Dr. Ashley leads a project to provide technical assistance and training to teen pregnancy prevention grantees for the Administration for Children and Families. She also leads an analysis of veteran's parenting, substance use, and mental health characteristics related to their teens' substance use and mental health outcomes.

Dr. Ashley has led randomized controlled trials and cross-site evaluations addressing teen pregnancy, dating violence, and substance use prevention. She has expertise in training program delivery staff and data collection staff, particularly regarding sensitive data collection involving minors. Dr. Ashley also has a strong knowledge of theory, research evidence, scientific experts, and evidence-based programs, all of which inform training and technical assistance efforts.
