Suzanne Strong is an expert in criminology and a member of the Court Systems Research division of the Center for Courts and Corrections. Her research interests include decision-making in court systems, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Currently, Dr. Strong leads and supports several projects related to pretrial release, decision-making, and risk assessments. She primarily uses quantitative methods with large administrative datasets. She also has experience developing and fielding large surveys, analyzing survey data, and merging data from different sources. Strong also has experience linking records across different agency datasets.
Dr. Strong joined RTI in 2020. She previously worked at the Bureau of Justice Statistics in the Prosecution and Adjudication unit.
