Susan Kinsey has 30 years of experience designing and managing large, highly complex field, telephone, web, and mixed-mode surveys. She has a particular interest in surveys involving experimental designs, special populations, adolescents, child assessments, and sensitive topics.
Ms. Kinsey’s work has primarily focused on child and family well-being, education, and victimization. She is especially proficient at collaborating with clients to design survey instruments and data collection strategies that produce high-quality, scientifically valid information within budget and scheduling priorities. Ms. Kinsey has also been closely involved in RTI innovation teams that developed audio computer-assisted self-interviewing, computer audio-recorded interviewing, and, more recently, RTI’s Quality Evaluation System (QUEST), our standardized system for monitoring interviewer performance and data quality.
