Robin Padberg serves as Chief of Party for Haiti LEVE, the Local Enterprise and Value Chain Enhancement project. A seasoned international executive, Mr. Padberg has a background in telecommunications and software as well as nonprofit leadership. He has worked in Haiti for more than a decade.

Mr. Padberg leads Haiti LEVE’s efforts to spur private investment in Haiti in the sectors of agribusiness, apparel and textiles, and construction. The USAID-funded project provides a mix of technical assistance, capacity development, training, and small grants to create job opportunities and strengthen Haiti’s economy.

Mr. Padberg came to RTI in 2015 from TechnoServe, a global nonprofit organization operating primarily in agribusiness and entrepreneurship. From 2012 to 2013, as an independent consultant, Mr. Padberg played a key role in structuring and negotiating the terms of the sale of the historic Hotel Villa Creole. Previously, he was CEO of Haiti’s leading mobile telecommunications provider. He also serves as an honorary Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Haiti.
