Mr. Schwehm has more than 16 years of professional experience with increasing roles of responsibility in international development. He has served in various senior capacities managing complex development projects and designing program strategies and interventions in democracy and governance based on the political, institutional, and socioeconomic conditions of developing countries.
Mr. Schwehm has provided technical assistance to a range of national and local governments and international development institutions on topics such as institutional development, policy analysis, legislative strengthening, public management reform, elections, organizational modeling and planning for decentralized government operations, public information, training, and implementation of major international development projects. He has managed and contributed to major development projects in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia.
