P. Anantha Reddy, PhD, studies peptide synthesis at RTI, supported by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). He has more than 20 years of experience and is an expert on a wide range of molecules, including naturally occurring sesquiterpenoids, porphirins, nucleosides (antiviral and antineoplastic), unnatural amino acids, peptides (opioid, caged, photoactivable), peptidomimetics, conotoxins, small proteins (betabellins) and peptide-protein conjugates using solution phase and solid phase approaches where appropriate.
Dr. Reddy joined RTI in 1991 after working at Yale University, The Rockefeller University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a co-author of more than 31 peer-reviewed publications and has presented his work at national and international scientific meetings.
