Julie Ndwiga has 10 years of experience in gender mainstreaming. In her current role as a gender advisor in RTI’s Energy program, she provides gender advice for the East Africa Energy Program. Prior to joining RTI International, Ms. Ndwiga worked with Alliance for a Green Revolution, a Pan African Organization, as a gender coordinator responsible for developing gender strategies for new programs, supporting development of proposals, and training partners and grantees on gender. She also supported the monitoring and evaluation unit in developing gender indicators and conducting assessments. Ms. Ndwiga has worked with multilateral organizations, including United Nations Women, United Nations Development Program, and World Food Program.
