Jean Jacques Tougoue Ngamaleu is a public health specialist and trained medical doctor with more than 17 years’ experience as a physician and international health practitioner. As an advisor for USAID's ENVISION program, he provides technical, strategic and management oversight for this eight-year, USAID-funded and implemented project supporting the control and elimination of five targeted neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in Guinea, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Benin.

Dr. Tougoue is adept at all aspects of humanitarian assistance programming, including design, management, implementation and monitoring, and evaluation. His areas of expertise include NTDs, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, immunization, and maternal and child health, and he is fluent in French, English and Lingala, with a working knowledge of Swahili and Spanish.
