Eva Mastiko is an experienced Chief of Party (COP) with more than 20 years of professional experience, including 16 years of experience providing strategic leadership, management, and technical expertise to complex Multi-donor, USAID- and DFID-funded democracy and governance programs—which have resulted in strengthened Parliamentary, electoral and local governance systems in Uganda. She currently serves as the Chief of Party for the Equity, Governance, Accountability, Participation and Performance program, working to improve Uganda’s governance environment for effective service delivery.
Ms. Matsiko has been an advocate for women’s participation in governance throughout her career including strengthening womens participation in electoral processes and has held various positions with the Uganda Association of Women Lawyers and as Deputy Program Manager for Partners for Democracy and Governance’s Election Support Programme. Ms. Matsiko is adept at engaging and communicating effectively with a wide range of government of Uganda counterparts and other stakeholders at national and local levels, enabling her to develop and maintain positive relationships and networks with relevant actors. She is fluent in English and Luganda.
