Eleanor ("Ellie") Turner has nearly a decade of experience in research and international agricultural development. She has worked on agricultural development programs in Cambodia, Kenya, and Zimbabwe and is an expert in agricultural technology adoption research. Ms. Turner is trained in quantitative research methods for the evaluation of agricultural development programs.
In her current role at RTI, Ms. Turner leads business development efforts and the design of new food security and value chain development programs. She is also the Project Manager for the Mozambique McGovern-Dole Impact Evaluation and Literacy Assessment. Her research and project work have been funded by donors such the US Agency for International Development, the UK Department for International Development, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She is conversationally fluent in Spanish.
