Doug Johnston is one of RTI’s authorities on health policy research, with a focus on the value of health care information systems. Mr. Johnston has more than 15 years of senior leadership experience. He is an expert at managing large, complex projects and strategic leadership of research and business development. His recent research has focused on electronic health record usability, clinical decision support, and health information exchange for clients such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT.
