Craig A. Hill

Craig A. Hill, Senior Vice President of RTI International’s Social, Statistical, and Environmental Sciences (SSES) unit, has more than 35 years of experience in social science research; during that time, he has directed research projects—both large and small––for a wide variety of federal, academic, and commercial clients. Dr. Hill has published and presented more than 50 papers, on topics as diverse as hospital ranking methodology, health care delivery and access, survey interviewer fraud, and new technology for social science research.

In his current role, he sets vision and strategy for a unit comprised of the Survey Research Division, the Division for Research Services, the Research Computing Division, the Division for Statistical and Data Sciences, the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Division, the Environmental Engineering and Economics Division, the Global Public Health Impact Center, and the Center for Multimedia Communication Services.  He has direct management authority and responsibility for a portfolio of more than 350 studies and more than 1100 professional staff.
