Amal Mohammed is an expert in performance management and learning platforms and designing development and MERLA interventions with over 15 years of experience in the United Nations and USAID funded programs in Ethiopia, DR Congo, Niger and Burkina Faso. Currently, Ms. Mohammed provides MERLA support to Learning, Energy and Environment for Development (LEED) division programs. She also serves as a MERLA Specialist for the SSES project on High Frequency Monitoring of agriculture and resilience programs of MCC in Niger, using satellite and drones.
Ms. Mohammed has experience in managing health and agriculture programs and implementing Knowledge Management, Collaboration, Learning and Adapting (CLA), Operational Research, and Monitoring and Evaluation strategies. These strategies have supported programs, organizations, communities, and donors to leverage evidence, learning, and best practices and improve performance, collaboration, and coordination. She is fluent in French and English.
