Health Spending: Tackling The Big Issues

Leslie Greenwald will be among the many panelists discussing health care spending and ways to reduce cost and improve care during the "Health Spending: Tackling the Big Issues" event. Greenwald will give a presentation on how health spending in the United States compares to the rest of the world. 

The event, sponsored by Health Affairs and the National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC), kicks off a multi-year project on health care spending. The project "aims to promote an evidence-based conversation about health spending by exploring questions involving the level and growth rate of health spending, the distribution of spending, efforts to improve the value of care, and analysis of options for constraining health care costs."
