RTI International's School Services team is continuing its annual Peer Networking Series to help educators promote thriving learning environments that facilitate the success of all students.
This series will foster sharing and collaboration among a diverse audience of educators and researchers, and will combine current educational research, innovative practitioner strategies and networking opportunities to support forward progress towards systemic solutions.
Please join us on February 6, 2018, for a day of learning and collaboration centered on developing specific SEL skills and competencies for students; effort, self-regulated learning, self-efficacy, academic self-concept, antisocial & prosocial behavior, coping & resilience
Participants will
- Learn about recent and emerging research related to SEL in K-12
- Explore practice-based examples of implementation
- Make connections with other practitioners and researchers to share knowledge
- Foster a community of practice focused on non-cognitive skills in the classroom
RTI International's Peer Networking Events are open to all educators! The registration cost for each networking event is $250 per person, and morning refreshments and lunch are included.
To submit a session proposal click here. The SEL Summit will offer two types of sessions; table discussions and poster sessions. Both types of sessions allow presenters to showcase and highlight successful SEL implementation in their districts/schools or organization. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
