RTI Researchers will be among the many presenters during the International Association for Food Preparation annual meeting, being held July 8-11 in Salt Lake City.
The event offers attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest science, solutions, and problems, as well as emerging trends within the food safety industry. presents the latest information and emerging trends in the food safety industry.
RTI researchers will be presenting on several topics, including:
- Assuring clean water in food production
- Improving food handling safety messaging
- Reducing Salmonella in poultry
- Enhancing vomit/diarrhea clean-up guidelines
RTI’s Ellen Thomas and Alan O’Connor also will be providing an assessment of the USDA’s Agriculture and Food Research Initiative and food safety research funding portfolio during a lunch session at 12:15 pm on Wednesday, July 11.
