SUDXPORT DATA FILES

All versions of SUDAAN can read and write data in SUDAAN's binary export format. No documentation files are required. Indicate to SUDAAN that your input or output data is a SUDAAN export data set by using the FILETYPE=SUDXPORT parameter on the PROC and OUTPUT statements. Files written in this format can be transported from one computing platform to another. Note, however, that using these files is somewhat less efficient than using the native-format SUDAAN data sets since SUDAAN must convert each data value from export representation to native floating point representation.
