SUDAAN DATA FILES

All versions of SUDAAN can read and write data in SUDAAN's own binary format. No documentation files are required. Indicate to SUDAAN that your input or output data is a SUDAAN data set by using the FILETYPE=SUDAAN parameter on the PROC and OUTPUT statements. SUDAAN also supports an export file type, SUDXPORT, which permits you to transport data from one platform to another.
