The NOCOMPRESS keyword in the OUTPUT statement applies only to SUDAAN and SUDXPORT output files. Ordinarily, SUDAAN stores data in a compressed format to conserve disk space and to improve input and output efficiency. To force SUDAAN to store data in an uncompressed format, use the NOCOMPRESS option.
