Substance Abuse and Mental Health
RTI has established itself as a central player in expanding knowledge about the consequences of substance abuse and the efficacy of programs that combat it. During our history of engagement with these issues, we have researched and monitored the extent and effects of drug and alcohol abuse among youth and college students, the homeless, and residents of specific geographic areas. We emphasize the development of improved methods of measuring substance abuse and its consequences in high-risk populations.
