The World Bank's solid waste thematic group faces increasingly complex issues in providing support to local governments in World Bank member countries. We support the World Bank by applying our Municipal Solid Waste Decision Support Tool to analyze management alternatives and technologies and their potential application in Nepal, Guinea, Pakistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amman, Argentina, Shanghai, Japan, and the United States. We are supporting a data collection team, entering data into the tool, analyzing alternative waste management scenarios, and presenting and interpreting results.
