Pesticide Registration Support

We provide research and technical services to assist the agrochemical industry with registration/reregistration of compounds for pesticides and other compounds for agricultural, industrial, and consumer applications. In particular, we conduct a wide range of studies in support of pesticide registration under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), including toxicology studies (Series 870).

All studies are conducted in full compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under FIFRA. We provide reports in EPA format (PR Notice 86-5) for direct incorporation into company submissions. Studies are also conducted in conformance with OECD guidelines.

Product Chemistry Studies

We provide support for analysis and certification of product ingredients. We conduct preliminary analyses of product samples, perform studies to support the preparation of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and perform all routine physical and chemical characterizations, including storage stability.

Our analytical chemists are familiar with methods for verifying certified limits, and we can develop new methods as needed.

Residue Analysis

Our analytical staff routinely measure levels of pesticides and derived products in food and other matrixes. We develop and validate methods for identification and quantification of metabolites and/or degradation products.

Toxicology Studies

Our toxicology services include general, comparative, environmental, reproductive, and developmental toxicology, as well as neurotoxicology. Our expertise includes

  • In vivo acute and subchronic studies and acute toxicity test batteries
  • Freshwater/marine bioassays
  • Bioactivation and bioconcentration determinations
  • Water and soil remediation
  • Teratology and reproductive studies, single and multigeneration
  • Acute and subchronic adult studies
  • Developmental neurotoxicology studies.


Our staff are also experienced with mammalian molecular genetics and mutagenesis, reproductive endocrinology, and cell and molecular engineering.
