Don Bailey: Fragile X Syndrome
The genetic disorder called 'fragile X syndrome' is the most common form of inherited intellectual disability. In typical cases, parents aren't aware that they are a carrier and don't find out that their child has fragile X until they are over two years old. Don Bailey has been studying the early development of children with fragile X with the goal of identifying them earlier.
