Hazard, Exposure, and Risk Analysis
We provide risk assessment support to EPA for development of maximum available control technology (MACT) standards for hazardous waste combustors. We currently provide risk assessment support to EPA for numerous regulatory efforts, including hazardous waste listing determinations and the Hazardous Waste Identification Rule (HWIR). In support of the HWIR, we evaluate risks presented by chemicals to human and ecological receptors in terrestrial and aquatic environments via the Multimedia, Multipathway, Multireceptor Risk Assessment (3MRA) modeling system.
