2012 Policy Forum Series

Significant progress has been made in recent years toward the control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases (NTD) in many parts of the world. Recently, a consortium of government development agencies, pharmaceutical companies, and funding organizations met in support of a new coordinated strategy designed by the World Health Organization to accelerate efforts to overcome the global impact of these diseases. At this forum, a group of leading NTD experts will discuss progress made and what's next for NTD control programs in order to reach the 2020 goals.
