Diesel Desulfurization
Our researchers have developed a sorbent-based process for removing sulfur from liquid fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. Our process provides refiners with an inexpensive alternative technology for meeting sulfur specifications for gasoline and diesel. Our technology has been demonstrated at the pilot plant stage and we have scaled-up sorbent preparation with the assistance of a commercial catalyst/sorbent manufacturing partner.
