Thermoelectric Power Generation and Energy Efficiency
We are developing applications with its advanced solid-state thermoelectric materials and devices for a variety of applications designed to increase energy efficiency. We are evaluating both our low-temperature thin-film superlattice devices and high-temperature bulk thermoelectric devices to determine their applicability for improving the fuel efficiency of mobile electric power generators. Similar thermoelectric power technologies are also applicable for use with commercial power generators.
We are also investigating the generation of power from heat sources in hypersonic vehicles using modules for the U.S. Air Force.
