Description
For General Electric Nuclear Energy (GENE), we prepared a Detailed Site Report for its Morris, IL, facility in support of the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP). Led by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), GNEP selected GENE's Morris facility as one of 12 commercial-scale spent fuel recycling facilities.
The Detailed Site Report described the proposed site setting and the environment that could be affected by the GNEP facility.
We prepared several sections of the report (e.g., groundwater, regional demography, and GIS mapping). We also updated our Geode system for the Morris site to provide the GENE Team with quick access to maps, documents, and other available data in support of the report preparation activities.
