Chemical Libraries
RTI specializes in the design, synthesis, and evaluation of small to medium-sized libraries for developing lead structures. RTI has more than 15 years of experience designing and using libraries for drug development. For example, RTI's chemists have used our chemical libraries to develop the first potent and highly selective kappa-opioid antagonists.
We use an iterative approach in lead development, building upon successful diversity components within our chemical libraries at each step. Once the libraries are screened for their activity, we use chemoinformatic techniques to sort and mine the data in order to help make subsequent decisions about synthesis.
