Pollution Prevention
RTI staff have the expertise to identify prevention-oriented approaches that maximize environmental benefits and minimize costs associated with implementing conventional and alternative processes and technologies. We conduct field evaluations of technologies, create innovative tools to enhance information exchange and improve decision making, develop and implement techniques for life-cycle environmental and cost assessments, and develop pioneering methods for environmental analysis.
