RTI Waltham

In 2002, RTI acquired Health Economics Research, Inc., a leader in health services research located in Waltham, MA, just outside Boston. The staff of RTI Waltham have more than two decades of experience in health economics and health services research, with a special focus on payment and financing, access to and quality of care, cost-effectiveness, and program evaluation.

Today, RTI Waltham is home to more than 50 staff, including several senior analysts trained in economics, econometrics, evaluation design, health policy, public health, pharmacoeconomics, managed care, nursing, and gerontology.

With a reputation for technical excellence and rigorous policy research, the office conducts research on behalf of government agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

From Logan Airport

  • Head towards Airport Exit.
  • Continue on Hotel Drive.
  • Turn right on Harborside Drive.
  • Turn right onto I-90 West toward I-90 West/Williams Tunnel.
  • Follow I-90 West (Mass Pike) towards Route 128/I-95 North (toll booth). (When approaching the Route 128/I-95 toll booth, keep to the right.) After exiting the Route 128/I-95 toll booth, head towards Route 128/I-95 North.
  • Take (Route 20) exit and follow signs for Waltham.
  • Straight through first set of lights (keep to the left).
  • Take quick left onto Stow Street.
  • Take left at the lights onto Main Street.
  • Straight through next set of lights.
  • Take left into office park at 1440 Main Street.

From Route 128 (North or South)

  • Take (Route 20) exit and follow signs for Waltham.
  • Straight through first set of lights (keep to the left).
  • Take quick left onto Stow Street.
  • Take left at the lights onto Main Street.
  • Straight through next set of lights.
  • Left into office park at 1440 Main Street.

From Mass Pike I-90 (East or West)

  • Take Route 128 North.
  • Take (Route 20) exit and follow signs for Waltham.
  • Straight through first set of lights (keep to the left).
  • Take quick left onto Stow Street.
  • Take left at the lights onto Main Street.
  • Straight through next set of lights.
