Our staff members help clients plan and implement projects that integrate four major sustainable development areas of concern: environment, economic development, equity, and engagement.
For example, we devised a framework to identify areas in which a project will have the most impact related to sustainable development. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) applied this framework to evaluate the sustainability issues associated with its research into low volatile organic compound coatings. The RTI framework helps identify issues that should be addressed during technology development, as well as project benefits that might have been previously undervalued.
